Chateau Hestia

Chateau Hestia,a small hidden garden restaurant nestled in Cavite was where my husband decided to bring me for our Valentines date and the ambiance that night was perfect— just a mixture of quaint and romantic all rolled up into one. Shout out to Jiro for telling Marco to take me here (haha, he told me he asked advise from you).

Had to change into flats, it was really slippery heading to the main dining place since it started raining

Marco reserved a place for us outside with the night sky ambiance while having dinner but it was raining that day so we ended up having dinner inside which turned out to be such a wonderful experience.

The set menu for the night but we were feeling quite adventurous and opted for our own picks from the menu

I just love dating this guy. I’d date him for the rest of my life…haha

The start of our romantic night, candle lit path.

Even the lighting inside was quite romantic.teehee

Yep, we were early birds. No one was there yet.

Something I have to get used to being married to Marco….people constantly messing up our last name. I’ve had Mendez, Mendoza but never a Mendoxa, I’d have to say that this is a first. We were Mr. and Mrs. Marco Mendoxa for the night.

Just outside the loo… I doubt you’ll ever get confused.

A little nook of random things and such

Here’s the set-up downstairs

It’s all in the details

The receiving area downstairs just outside the deli

An alcoholic’s logic..haha

Handpicking wine for dinner

For the love of cheese…

Marco did the handpicking of the cheese

Mr. and Mrs. Marco Mendoxa… I mean Mendezona. haha

They were handing out Hanuta hazelnut chocolate to the women before leaving the place. A good treat to end the night.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines celebration!

Bacolod: Of Babies and Pigging Out

Dropped by Bacolod before flying back to Houston to take a break from running wedding errands and also to see Marco’s family, especially the babies!!!

Seeing my adorable godson, Mateo, for the first time. Look at that handsome smile!

After eating, Diego memes (nap). He grabs a pillow, puts it on the floor and pretends to sleep, How cute is that?!?

Mateo, Diego and Yaya Diday joining me for breakfast.

Brotherly love. Probably like Marco and Nacho when they were kids. Awww….

So Pauline gave me the most recent episodes of Carrie Diaries and the first season of Reign to watch in my room and this little guy jumps up on my bed, lies down next to me with his little stash to nibble and he stays there and decides to keep me company the entire time. He’s such a palangga.

Date at Timezone with Little Diego.

He likes to play “the ducky”

He’s pretty good in basketball.

He likes playing with drums

And I think he’s already very eager to drive. Haha

Then I brought him to Payless and bought him those Spider Man shoes that lights up.

Ayala at Night.

When in Bacolod, you can’t help but try out a number of the food places they’re known for. Eating out is a must so we went to…

Manokan Country

(Try their Steak Salpicao)

…and last but not the least

I finally got to try Ohana Musubi’s Spam Musubi. It’s to die on the link and check ’em out.

Little Paola with My flower girls Xime and Natya.

One last photo with this happy baby, Ninang will miss you so much.

Thanks so much Mendezonas for having me. See you in a few months at the wedding!

Here’s a video of Diego on my first day in Bacolod. 🙂
