❤ Happy Hearts Day, Everyone!!! ❤
Here’s a short post just to show y’all how my last minute DIY gift for my husband turned out. To those who know Marco, we know how much he loves to be “Pun-ny” (or corny for that matter) and I figured since the best way to Marco’s heart is really through his stomach, food puns would be the best way to pay him back for all those corny “hirits” in the past. I wasn’t too happy with the way it looked since I am a bit particular when it comes to aesthetics but to come up with this within 10 hours or less is pretty impressive considering that I had to make up the rest of the puns. Forgive the cheesiness.
Thanks to eighteen25 for the inspiration and some of the free printables on your website. You saved the day! The rest I had to do hurriedly through power point, so they weren’t as pretty.
Details about our Valentines celebration coming soon—-for now, I have to date my husband. It’s our first Valentines as Mr. and Mrs. Marco Mendezona.
His Pun-ny package. 😀
Catch y’all later! Hope you enjoyed. Haha. Mwah! ❤
This was probably my 2nd visit to SM Aura’s NIU by Vikings and with no fail I would feel sick right after. During the first visit, I thought it was the lamb I ate but Marco seemed perfectly fine so maybe it was something else. The vomiting in the middle of the night was mad and I thought I got food poisoned so explain to me why I was hopping from one buffet table to the other, when we went for Mikel’s birthday dinner. I was extra cautious because I still couldn’t determine what had happen the last time. Right after dessert, there it was again the feeling of nausea but this time milder. This time around I was convinced that it was the mixture of food smells that had caused it, thank God I was fine when we left Niu.
A few days later Marco and I would find out that I was pregnant and that alone would explain it all….It wasn’t NIU, it was me. Pun intended. haha.
A simple quiet dinner for Mikel’s birthday on a Tuesday night at Niu by Vikings.
Mikel and the obligatory birthday cake shot
Still goofing around. Happy Birthday Mikel!!!!
Pilica and I at Uniqlo after the dinner. Yeah, we wanted these hats.

Matching purses with my mom’s white one. She gave this to me right before I left for the Philippines to get married.

Browns and Golds
Recently got this snakeskin print shirt dress from Mom and it simply is the easiest to wear, the material is light and its a piece that’s easy to dress up or down. I opted to cinch it with my go-to red skinny belt that happened to be made of faux snake skin which gave my outfit some texture and not to mention the pop of color that my bland ensemble needed. I accessorized with gold from head to toe except for the new white Druzy Ring that I got from Minted Jewelry. Shout out to Tiny Salloman, a good friend of mine since Kindergarten, for providing us with such classy pieces. You can check her items on Instagram, IG name: mintedjewelry.
Enjoy the rest of your week guys!
“The difference between an ordinary marriage and an extraordinary marriage is in giving just a little ‘extra’ every day, as often as possible, for as long as we both shall live.”
Usually, I just tell my husband to sleep in Alabang when he has to work at the clinic because his shift doesn’t end ’till 10pm and I would hate for him to drive an hour or so exhausted just so he could be with me here in LaVista. Better safe than sorry, right?
This guy surprised me by coming home to me late last night….I thought he deserved a reward for being the sweetest husband ever so Breakfast in Bed it is. (Well, by our bed anyway..haha)
Happy Wife, Happy Husband. Happy Husband, Happy Wife.
I love you, Sweetie! Just wanted you to know that you are appreciated.
